Now I'm going to give this Blue Beetle series a chance when it comes out, but my initial reaction is: Do we really want a Smallville type show about a Blue Beetle who isn't Ted Kord? The answer would be no, but I'll still give it a shot. Check out our latest podcast:

Shit on that. Ted Kord was the Blue Beetle, and he was a normal Joe with gizmos. Good death in the comics, sure– but bringing in some kid with the scarab was some bullshit.

I’d like to see them do a Batman In Training show. Covering the seven years between him leaving Gotham in Batman Begins and meeting Ras al Ghul. That’d be worth seeing.
